This experiential campaign for Edinburgh Zoo used interactive storytelling to raise awareness and conservation funds for the endangered native Water Vole. Working in a team of three, we created an engaging educational trail featuring infographics, static graphics, and digital displays. At the final donation point, an interactive screen rewarded donors: every contribution "powered up" the character, culminating in a custom animation I created that depicted the Water Vole standing up to the invasive American Mink.
From strategic content planning to custom asset creation, my social media work spans both charity and heritage sectors. For a local children’s charity, I designed an interconnected Instagram grid puzzle layout to boost engagement and drive awareness. Additionally, during my four years at Abbotsford, I regularly captured photography, produced short-form video content, and managed daily multi-channel communications to connect with a global audience.
I design and build clean, responsive, user-friendly websites tailored to a client’s brand story. My platform experience includes Squarespace, Wix, and Google Sites but I am also comfortable building on other platforms. A recent highlight is the site for Rachel Raven Integrative Psychotherapy, where I translated her brand identity into a serene, easy-to-navigate digital environment designed to convert visitor inquiries into client bookings seamlessly.
Forestopia is an immersive theme park concept centered on nature and the circular economy. Leading the 'Macro Plasmodium' zone, I drew inspiration from my background in foraging to design a mushroom-themed land where micro-organisms are scaled up into massive, walk-through structures. I produced the zone's master map, ride concept illustrations, and incorporated abstract experimental light photography to showcase atmospheric environmental lighting throughout the park.
Commissioned for National Museums Scotland, this project involved designing a custom pictogram system for their digital catalog. Inspired by ancient cuneiform scripts, the icons were developed to categorize artifacts translated by AI technology. I designed textured, split-diagonal pictograms showing both ancient and modern forms, alongside simplified high-contrast black-and-white versions to guarantee legibility at small digital display sizes.
Motion graphics bring static designs to life, adding narrative depth and dynamic engagement across digital displays and web platforms. My animation work ranges from character-driven storytelling, such as the interactive animations for the Edinburgh Zoo project, to sleek title sequences, music videos and dynamic logo reveals.
